Inspection Tech is an R&D company based in Royal Leamington Spa, UK. We develop inspection and measurement devices for industry, from concept to finished product, and we undertake commissioned research.
What we do
Novel solutions to everyday industrial problems
We have built our reputation on delivering novel, state-of-the-art solutions to common production and processing problems, and on bringing better inspection and measurement devices to market across many industrial sectors.
Our aim is to improve on traditional inspection and measurement equipment with fully automated, state-of-the-art sensor systems that strengthen our customers’ competitive position.
Examples include detecting non-metallic, translucent foreign bodies in food and pharmaceuticals, and a range of non-destructive testing (NDT) tools for the oil and gas, power generation, automotive and aerospace industries.

Meet the team
Managing Director
Nili Sternbaum · MA, MBA
Nili brings a wealth of management experience. Her previous roles include forensic accounting, with broad investigative experience covering general fraud investigations, anti-money-laundering work, US government contract compliance, fraudulent financial reporting and asset misappropriation, in both the public and private sectors. She has taken part in several collaborative projects.
Materials Scientist
Dr Andrew Wootton
Experienced in bulk compositional modification at the micro- and nano-structural level using techniques such as sol-gel synthesis, with a background in ceramics and metallurgy, and industrial experience of the mechanical behaviour and in-service ageing of common industrial alloys and composites.
Development Engineer
Piotr Kubasiak · MSc
Specialises in embedded systems, including robotics, embedded controllers for multi-sensor systems, remote sensing, and adaptive on-chip real-time data processing for in-situ industrial monitoring and control equipment.
Senior Development Engineer
Julian Worskett · MSc, CEng
Previously at the Philips Advanced Development Laboratory, specialising in radar receivers, antennas and microwave engineering, and later at the UK Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl). Expert in production design, most classes of analogue electronic design, modelling and PCB manufacture.
