Inspection Tech is an R&D company based in Royal Leamington Spa, UK. Our core business activities are centred on developing from concept to product, inspection and measurement devices for industry. We also undertake commissioned research.

Our in-house expertise includes electronic design, mechanical design, development of software and firmware, embedded processing, product prototyping and manufacturing.

Some examples are the detection of non-metallic translucent foreign bodies in food and pharmaceuticals and various Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) tools for the oil and gas, power generation, automotive and aerospace industries.

Our business model is to provide solutions that improve upon traditional inspection/measurement equipment, with fully automated state-of-the-art sensory systems that will enhance the competitive positions of our customers.

Meet the Team

Nili Sternbaum (MA, MBA)

Managing Director: Nili has a wealth of management experience, her previous roles included forensic accountaning with broad investigative experience which includes general fraud investigations, anti– money laundering work, US government contract compliance, fraudulent financial reporting and misappropriations of assets investigation in both the public and the private sector. She has participated in several collaborative projects.

Dr Geoff Diamond (Winner of the 2019 BINDT Nemet award)

 Technical Director: Experience with product development. Special fields are non-invasive and stand-off instrumentation in areas such as security applications, NDT and real-time in-line fault detection of industrial products. Techniques used include Radio Frequency (RF), Near Infra-Red (NIR), single-sided capacitance and acoustics. Dr Diamond is also an experienced research manager of multinational research consortia and is also the named author & co-author of several international patents. BINDT Nemet Award

Dr Andrew Wootton

Materials scientist: with experience of bulk compositional modification at the  micro and nano-structural level via techniques such as sol gel synthesis. Ceramics, metallurgy and industrial experience of the mechanical behaviour and ageing of common industrial alloys and composites whilst in service.

Piotr Kubasiak (MSc)

Development Engineer: embedded systems, specialties include robotics and design of embedded controllers within multi-sensor systems, remote sensing, and adaptive methods for on-chip real time data processing for in-situ the industrial monitoring and control equipment.

Julian Worskett (MSc. C.Eng.)

Senior Development Engineer:  Previously of the Advanced Development Laboratory at Philips (specializing in radar receivers, antenna and microwave engineering), later worked for the UK Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) Expertise in production design and most classes of analogue electronic design, modelling and PCB manufacture
