UVee Big Beam™ intelligent UV inspection lamp
The UVee Big Beam is an intelligently controlled handheld black light for fluorescent penetrant testing and fluorescent magnetic particle inspection. Its large 36 cm maximum beam diameter is wider than other leading manufacturers’ lamps. It weighs only 750 g including the battery.
ITECP embedded controller
Every UVee lamp has an ITECP embedded controller processing unit, which gives:
- Far tighter control of luminous output
- Optimised battery management for the longest operating time
- Compensation for LED temperature, so UV output stays at the required level
- Full power and stable output in less than three seconds
Certified for aerospace NDT
Total compliance with ASTM E3022, Rolls-Royce RRES 90061 and Airbus AITM6-1001. Every lamp is supplied with a manufacturer’s certificate of conformance for use with fluorescent liquid penetrant and magnetic particle testing, plus a full set of conformance documents and validation reports for Nadcap audits.
